HAMPSHIRE County Council lowered flags at their Winchester headquarters to show their sympathy and solidarity with victims of the terror attacks in Spain.
Council flags were lowered to half mast last week following the shocking attack which saw 13 people killed and dozens injured when a van was driven through crowds on Las Ramblas in Barcelona last Thursday afternoon.
A woman died in a second incident early on Friday, in the town of Cambrils.
The leader of Hampshire County Council, Councillor Roy Perry, said: “This is another tragic and senseless attack on innocent people.
“At this time of shock and sadness across Europe, and on behalf of the people of Hampshire, I offer our sincere condolences to the Spanish people.
“Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected, and their families at this very sad time.”
