PETERSFIELD Lions has welcomed a new president.
Former president Mike Piatek handed over to David Read, who has spent the past year as vice president. Welcoming David, Mike thanked members for their efforts during his presidential year, which saw money raised for Petersfield charities such as Home Start Butser and FitzRoy. The Petersfield branch raises about £5,000 a year for good causes. It also plays a lead role in the Lions South region Spec Trek drive, to send second hand spectacles delivered to Third World countries
