The total isn’t in yet as the fundraising continued the week after the coffee morning on Friday, September 30.
Flowers and produce were on sale outside the pub – that has been run by the same family since 1932 – until Friday, October 7.
Harrow Macmillan spokesman Selina Garstin said: “The coffee morning was brilliant.
“It went really well and a huge number of people supported it with delicious cakes and produce.
“The rain held off and to date we’ve raised £2,450, and these vital funds are needed more than ever by the amazing Macmillan nurses.”
“We and Macmillan are really grateful for the ongoing support and would like to top last year’s total of £2,750 if we can.”
The current family members running the award-winning pub are sisters Claire and Nisa McCutcheon, who were born there too.
They support the Macmillan fundraisers every year, helped by a dedicated team of volunteers, including Tony Clear who grows many of the flowers on sale during the week-long fundraiser.
