Harting Post Office to close and to set up shop in village store

HARTING?Post Office is to be relocated to South Harting Village Store.

The branch in South Harting will close on Wednesday, July 27, at 1pm, and an open-plan Post Office will open in the shop in North Lane the following day at 1pm.

This is part of a nationwide programme to convert Post Offices into ‘local’ style branches.

Post Office products and services will be provided from the shop counter throughout the store’s opening hours of 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to noon on Saturday and Sunday. This is an extra 18 hours and 30 minutes a week, and there will be no lunchtime closing.

Harting’s services will include manual banking, Transcash and Parcelforce Worldwide.
