THE PUBLIC is being urged to have their say as to what they would like to see in a new community building being planned in Petersfield.

The Festival For Young People and the Post revealed in June concept designs for what a new community centre could look like in the future at Love Lane.

Petersfield architects Re-Format helped the group who were behind the popular Love Lane skatepark come up with some graphics of what the new building could look like. Thousands of leaflets detailing the proposals have been delivered across the town.

Comments and suggestions made at a series of public meetings will help to shape the look of the new building and what is inside it before the plans are submitted in a planning application.

The first public meeting is due to take place at the Love Lane football stadium on Monday, September 19.

The meeting will start at 7pm and the concept designs will be on display for visitors to look at and comments will be collected.
