On January 6, a total of 207 people tested positive for Covid-19 in East Hampshire.

The rolling seven days total stands at 1,568, which is up by 238 (17.9 per cent).

One person died within 28 days of a positive test on January 6. The rolling seven days total is one death and the rolling death rate is 0.8 per 100,000 people.

A total of 103,088 people (90.5 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 96,442 (84.7 per cent) their second dose and 78,628 (69.1 per cent) their booster.

On January 6, a total of 235 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Waverley.

The rolling seven days total stands at 1,654, which is up by 192 (13.1 per cent).

Nobody died within 28 days of a positive test on January 6, or within the last seven days, and the rolling death rate per 100,000 people is now zero.

A total of 104,396 people (87.4 per cent) have had their first dose of the vaccine, 96,905 (81.1 per cent) their second dose and 80,386 (67.3 per cent) their booster.
