EAST Hants covid Vaccination Programme medics operating from the Festival Hall in Petersfield have carried out 100,000 vaccination and booster jabs so far.

East Hants Primary Care Network clinical director Dr Richard Kershaw of the Swan Surgery in Petersfield said: “I want to express our gratitude to the hundreds of volunteers that have been helping to assist the Petersfield Festival Hall COVID Vaccination Programme since it began over 12 months ago.

“I’m delighted to say we have administered over 100,000 vaccines to local residents to help with the fight against COVID 19 and we continue to do so.

“We really could not have done this without you!

“From the Lions Club coordinating volunteers to marshal the crowds, to retired clinicians coming back to help vaccinate, furloughed locals helping with the admin side of things, and let’s not forget the lovely team of volunteers making much appreciated cups of tea and coffee for the whole workforce!

“Thank you so much and a Happy Christmas and Healthy New Year to you all.”
