FOOD outlets offering customers healthier choices will be given awards under the new ‘Eat Out Eat Well’ scheme from East Hampshire District Council. The authority’s food and safety team will give out bronze, silver or gold awards based on the type of food offered. It is hoped this will lead to changes being made such as reducing the fat, sugar and salt levels in dishes.
