Hear new collections from award-winning poets at Petersfield bookstore event

TWO award-winning local poets will be reading from their new collections at One Tree Books in Petersfield on Saturday (November 21).

Michael Spilberg is launching ‘FAQs’ and Helen Whitten ‘The Alchemist’s Box’ at the event at 3pm at the bookstore in Lavant Street.

Helen has published in a number of journals and won the Winchester and Elmbridge Festival Poetry Competitions. The Alchemist’s Box is her first collection. She is involved in local writing groups, and has read several times at Petersfield Write Angle and Winchester Loose Muse. Find out more at www.babyboomerpoetry.com

Mike Spilberg’s new volume is his fourth. His poems have appeared in the Literary Review (in whose competition he won a first prize) and the Salopian quarterly.
