FOUNDER of the Petersfield-based Hounds for Heroes charity, Allen Parton, has visited RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, with his two trusty dogs, to have photographs taken for a charity calendar.

With golden retriever EJ and Labrador Rookie, he toured 99 Squadron’s base and its Boeing C-17 Globemaster aircraft.

Yellow Labrador Endal, who died in 2009, helped Allen when he suffered severe injuries in an operational incident in 1991 when he was in the Royal Navy.
