Petersfield recorded its hottest day of the year on Monday – a scorching 28 degrees Celsius.
But the heat didn’t stop painter Donovan McIntosh from working – he just rigged up a ’stay cool’ canopy at the former Rowans charity shop in the High Street and cracked on.
The hottest temperature in the UK on Monday was 29.6 degrees Celsius – 83.8 degrees Fahrenheit – in London.
