THE BURITON Christmas market, organised by the Buriton Shop Association and the village’s primary school, was once again a big success.

Over the course of an afternoon more than 200 people poured into St Mary’s Church to pick up Christmas treats, enjoy a range of arts and crafts stalls, sample local produce, post Christmas cards and parcels at a mobile Post Office, and relax over a glass of mulled wine and home-made mince pies.

Money was raised for the school in Buriton High Street, St Mary’s Church and Buriton’s Village-to-Village charity, which supports schools and families in the area of Dominase, Ghana.
