PETERSFIELD showman David Weeks was spotted on TV outside Wembley before England’s Euro 2020 final against Italy on Sunday.
David, who didn’t have a ticket for the match but wanted to enjoy the pre-game atmosphere on Wembley Way, wore his famous blue suit, along with the words It’s Coming Home.
Sadly football didn’t come home as England were beaten on penalties by the Azzurri, but David, of Penns Road, enjoyed his day.
He said: “It was out of this world. It was one of the nicest days I’ve had. I left Petersfield at 9am and got back home in time to watch the game.

“People were singing and stopping to have their photograph taken with me. Everyone was out there to enjoy themselves and the atmosphere was amazing and it made the day.
“It was unbelievable.
“I’m proud to say I was there representing the country.”
David also went to Wembley before Wednesday’s 2-1 semi-final win against Denmark without a ticket, again to sample the build-up to one of the biggest football matches played in this country.
