AN UDDERLY unique festive experience is guaranteed at Winchester’s Theatre Royal.

Jack and the Beanstalk is a giant of a show that’s big on laughs and full of beans - there’s bound to be family fun aplenty.

After idle Jack Trott accidentally sells Daisy the Cow for a worthless bag of beans, he sets off on a daring adventure to get her back.

But because he’s a bit rubbish at being heroic, his mummy has to go along with him.

Once he’s climbed the beanstalk to the sinister castle high in the clouds though, Jack has no choice but to find his courage and battle it out not only with the evil Giant who lurks there but also his wicked sister Cruella.

Will Jack win the day and impress his hard to please girlfriend Jill?

Will Jack’s mum Dame Dotty admit her real age?

And will Jack’s brother Silly-Billy mess things up as usual.

All will be revealed in the show, which runs until January 3, with original songs, loads of audience participation and a hilarious script.

Written and directed by James Barry with music by Simon Slater.
