Dreaming of a green Christmas as Petersfield group offers discounted fruit treesLast summer Channel Four Location, Location, Location presenters Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer visited Petersfield to help a couple keen to move here find their dream home.
They visited three properties, two in Petersfield and one near Clanfield - but one house in particular, then owned by Barry Rutter and his wife, took their fancy.
It was shown to them by Andrew Woodcraft of estate agents Williams of Petersfield, who at the time coyly wouldn’t say if the couple had made an offer on the house in Queens Road.
Barry, he and his wife recently moved into the former Flora Twort Gallery in Church Walk and are now busy installing a bathroom and kitchen, said: “I wasn’t there when they came round, at the time I just hoped it went well.”
The Post can reveal the viewing went well, and the couple later made an offer, but to find out if it was accepted, or the sale fell through, see Location, Location, Location tonight on Channel Four at 8pm.
