THIS year’s Langrish Christmas Fayre has been hailed a great success, raising more than £2,000 for the village church, St John the Evangelist.

Vicar of the parish Reverend Jane Ball said: “It’s great to see the community pull together putting on our second Christmas Fayre.”

And this year for the first time, Langrish Primary School choir entertained us with Christmas Carols from the balcony.

On sale at the donation entry fair, there were homemade Christmas provisions from Langrish Larder and Christmas decorations, plants, candles, cards, presents, and Christmas Candy.

There was also a festive tombola and fun games, mince pies, mulled wine and tea and coffee.

Next up in the village calendar is the village carol service on Sunday, December 18, and the Scratch Nativity service on Saturday, December 24, at 4pm, which is also open to visitors from East Meon.
