TIME is running out if you want to nominate someone to perform the task of switching on Petersfield’s festive lights display.

The Post and the organisers of the Christmas lights switch-on event have thrown open the chance to turn on the festive display to the public to decide.

Rather than bring in a celebrity to perform the task, we are looking for the most worthy person in Petersfield to throw the switch on the lights and get Christmas under way in the town centre.

All you need to do to nominate someone for the role is write to the Post with the reasons why the person being nominated should be chosen for the role.
