AN?INTIMATE evening of burlesque and cabaret is the enticing prospect on offer at The Phoenix Theatre and Arts Centre.
Hundred Watt Club returns to the Bordon venue on Friday, April 28, at 8pm, hosted by the inimitable, acid-tongued songbird Lili La Scala.
The show stars glittering showgirl Lena Mae, ukulele-wielding comedienne Tricity Vogue, neo-burlesque clown Goodness Gracious, and kaleidoscopic hula-hooper Mariposa Bop.
And it doesn’t get more diverse than that colourful cast of characters.
It’s a night of “silly, seductive, and sensational” entertainment not to be missed, and not for the faint hearted.
Adult themes are employed and embraced with gusto so it is for the likes of the over 18s only.
The critics have enthused about the show, with one gushing:?“Lena Mae is mesmerising and explosive in equal measure. She oozes old Hollywood glamour and dazzles with her Hundred Watt smile.”
Tickets are £12, with £11 for concessions.
