THIS year’s Liphook charity bike ride on Sunday was a big success, say organisers.
Around 650 riders took part in the main ride, which started and finished at Bohunt School.
The first male rider was Ben Williams, from Waterlooville, and the first female rider was Natasha Whishaw from Conford near Liphook, who was also the first female rider home last year.
Just over 100 juniors took part in the junior ride for those under 12 years old on the playing field at Bohunt School. The youngest junior rider was just three years old.
Two riders managed more than 100 laps, and Harry Remnant completed 136 laps, which was longer than the main ride.
Liphook bike ride chairman Alistair Halliday said: “This year’s ride was terrific.
“Liphook Guides did a fantastic job with the refreshments, and I would also like to thank all of the 50 marshals for their support.”
