A FLOWER festival and art exhibition at Liphook Methodist Church was a big success, say organisers.
The event, on September 23 and 24, was a charity fundraiser for the church roof and Water Aid UK.
The theme for the event was Gardens in the Bible.
Event co-ordinator Vera Frank-Schultz said: “We had a steady stream of visitors on both days, and it was very well received.

“This was the first time we had the art exhibition as well as the flower festival, and there was a lot of community involvement.
“The theme was Gardens in the Bible and pictures of vegetables and fruit were among the work.
“At the moment we have raised in the area of £800, but it may be we get more.”
