He did it for the village: Legendary Liss trader DIY Dave closes shop after 38 yearsThe school community, family and friends turned out in droves to support the event, packing the main hall to capacity. A beautiful array of cakes and bakes were entered into a bake-off, with the winner thrilled to receive a signed celebrity cake book. There are some very talented bakers among the school community and everyone enjoyed coffee and cake and a good catch up with friends.
Other fundraising efforts during the morning including a book raffle and a cake auction which were both very well supported. All in all over £534 has been raised to date, and with staff continuing to purchase cake through the day, that total will rise.
The team would like to thank everyone who came and supported the event, and everyone who helped make the morning such a success.
