LIPHOOK Village Market fell silent at 11am on Saturday morning as visitors remembered with honour those who gave their lives for others in conflict.

The damp weather did not deter visitors to the market, who browsed the stalls of the 17 local makers and producers present, many visitors staying to socialise over refreshments.

The market welcomed back Katrin Eagle. Katrin is a wool artist living in Petersfield and produces items through hand spinning, weaving and needle felting.

The inspiration for her work is drawn from her surroundings.

The Christmas market will be held at the Millennium Centre on Saturday, November 25.
