THE LIVING Room Cinema in Liphook is planning a full launch by Easter.
With up to four showings a day in its 61-seat auditorium, the Living Room Cinema will have something for everyone, from blockbusters and family films to independent titles and foreign language films.
The cinema’s opening week will feature showings of recent releases, including Death on the Nile, Belfast, The Batman, House of Gucci and The Phantom of the Open, plus screenings of Encanto and Sing 2 for children.
Audio-described, subtitled, autism and dementia-friendly screenings will be available, and the cinema is fully wheelchair accessible.

East Hampshire estate to become "world class resort" in UK first for high-end chainIt has been more than two years since work first began turning the former Anchor Garage in Liphook Square into a cinema and cafe-bar.
Set in a building with more than 100 years of history, the cinema is bringing a community-led experience to an area not served by other cinema operators.
Chief executive, founder and Liphook local Claire Beswick and her team are planning a number of soft opening events before the full launch by Easter. The cinema is also working with Hugh Bonneville, who is sponsoring a seat in the auditorium and will host a gala event for the upcoming film Downton Abbey: A New Era.
The Living Room Cinema will be the first cinema in the area since the closure of The Rex in Haslemere in 1986.
The cinema seeks to emulate a ‘home from home’ feeling, and the cafe-bar will serve a selection of day-time treats in the form of pastries, cakes and savoury snacks, alongside a more substantial evening offering, and popcorn and confectionery.
The Living Room Cinema is partnering with a host of local businesses, including Liphook’s General Wine Company, which will supply its curated wine list, Haslemere’s Real English Drinks House, Alresford’s Moon Roast Coffee, and Wildsmith Skin, based at Heckfield Place, Hook.
The cinema is also hoping to partner with a local bakery.
Tickets will be on sale to the public by the end of this month, and in its opening week the Living Room Cinema will be running a series of opening offers, including discounted tickets, collaborations with businesses, complimentary fizz on arrival, and more.
Four types of cinema membership can now be bought through the website.
The cinema will not be exclusive to members only, but membership includes discounts, offers and benefits.
