THIS year’s Liss Forest family fun day was a big success, say organisers.
The fun day was held at Liss Forest Recreation Ground on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Rev Peter Coley, who helped organise the event, said: “We were really pleased with the turnout.
“The fun day was opened by Liss Villager of the Year Sue Jordan, and we raised over £1,000, which will go to local charities.
“Everyone had a very good time, and the dog show went very well. I would like to thank Red Mist Leisure for letting us use their toilets.
“We are looking for a new leader to organise the event, as I am stepping down after five years. We have a willing team of volunteers, and just need somebody to lead the organisation.”
