PREPARATIONS are well under way for the popular Liss Christmas Fair and late night shopping event.
This year’s event will take place from 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 7.
Kevin Johnson, who owns On All Floors and is helping to organise the fair, said: “We’ve got a few changes this year, and the Santa’s grotto is in Liss Barbers.
“Just You Hairdressers is doing a raffle, mince pies, Prosecco, wine and a mystery guest.
“Chapplins Estate Agents is doing guess the price of the house, and the Dalek will be in On All Floors.
“1984 is doing glitter tattoos and mulled wine, and we will have a balloon man.
“Liss Junior School’s choir will start their performance at 6pm, and Liss Band will start their performance at 6.45pm.
“There will be general festivities and lots of stalls, a best-dressed window competition and a funfair in the Whistle Stop car park. We do need another volunteer though to help man the road closures.”
The Triangle will get involved and host a craft fair and Christmas raffle. There will be plenty of craft stalls at the Triangle, as well as mulled wine and mince pies.
