LISS Infant School’s Christmas Fair on Saturday was a big success, say organisers.
There were a number of different activities to entertain visitors to the fair, which was sponsored by Chapplins Estate Agents in Liss.
Liss Infant School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) co-vice-chairman Rhiannon Alembick said: “The fair was brilliant, and we had an excellent turnout.
“We had a fair few outside traders, a tombola and sporting activities.
“Luckily, the weather was on our side for the outdoor activities.
“Our Father Christmas this year was a volunteer, Ray Betsworth, and he did an amazing job.
“We raised about £2,400 at the fair, and this money will go towards enhancing the outdoor areas of the classrooms of Years 1 and 2.
“Organising the Christmas fair was a joint effort from a number of volunteers, and overall it was a success.”
