The Rev Chris Williams said: “There were more than 430 people in church for the service and it was great to see so many children in the uniformed organisations.
“Remembrance Sunday is very poignant and it brings the community together.
“Wreaths were laid at the church and at the village’s war memorial. It was good to see Liss Athletic Football Club juniors lay a wreath, and the scouts, brownies and guides also took part.”
Juniors’ secretary Emma Glazier said: “Each year group were represented.”
