The restaurant on Station Road is competing against nine others in the South Central heat of Britain’s Top Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards.
It is the only Hampshire restaurant outside Southampton to make the shortlist with the winners being announced at a Hilton Park Lane ceremony in London on October 8.
More than 1,190 restaurants and takeaways around the UK were nominated for the awards, which recognise excellence, craft, creativity and great taste.
Customer feedback and food hygiene ratings were considered before a judging panel confirmed the final shortlist.
