He did it for the village: Legendary Liss trader DIY Dave closes shop after 38 yearsMini, junior, adult and team squad coaching spaces were filled and free off court activities, along with the short tennis nets to practise new skills, were well used.
A family fun atmosphere was felt throughout and the audience relaxed with cream teas, refreshments, Pimm’s, burgers and sausages, strawberries and cream while watching the tennis.
There were plenty of tennis-themed side stalls along with a home produce stall.
The finale saw Danny and Luke roll back the years with rallies and trick shots and then members from Newman Collard, Liphook and Rake tennis clubs took turns to join Danny and Luke for exhibition matches.
Funds raised from the festival will be used to provide free community coaching.
