WITH?almost 700 years of service between them, Duke of Edinburgh scheme (DoE) leaders and volunteers across Hampshire were recognised for their hard work.

They received Long Service Awards in a ceremony organised by Hampshire County Council to mark 60 years of the youth scheme.

Handing out the accolades was Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire and president of the DoE in Hampshire Nigel Atkinson.
