LOW SUN dazzle at this time of year can be potentially fatal for motorists, Hampshire Constabulary has warned.

Drivers’ vision affected by this hazard was recorded as a contributory factor in five fatal road collisions over the last three years. Road users are urged to be aware, drive at a sensible speed and avoid sudden braking. Windscreens should be clear, and wearing sunglasses could help.
