This Friday the team at The Harrow Inn launch their annual Macmillan fund raising effort with a coffee morning and cakes.

Also on sale will be produce, flowers, bric-a-brac, and much more.

The coffee morning runs from 10am to noon.

But flowers and produce will be on sale during the following week as part of the fundraiser.

The pub on the road from Sheet to Steep has been run by the same family since 1932.

The current family members running the award winning pub are sisters Claire and Nisa McCutcheon, who were born there too.

They support the Macmillan fundraisers every year along with a dedicated team of volunteers.

Event spokesman and joint organiser Selina Garstin said: “Everyone welcome, bring your family, friends and neighbours and support this wonderful charity.

“These vital funds are needed more than ever by the amazing Macmillan nurses.”

Last year the annual coffee morning at the pub (pictured above) raised more than £2,400 for the cancer charity; a record said organisers.

But they hope to raise more this year and would welcome everyone’s support.
