A PUMPKIN was famously turned into Cinderella’s carriage by the Fairy Godmother in the classic children’s tale.
And youngsters can expect more magic over the half term as the gates of the Rogate Pumpkin Patch will be opened this Saturday.
There will be lots for children to enjoy with highlights including a slime factory, face painting and the ever-popular maze in a field of maize.
Youngsters can also decorate, carve and smash a pumpkin, sling a potato, take a ride on the carousel or hop on the barrel ride.
Plenty of pumpkin-based food will also be available while visitors can pick their own during the event, which will be open daily from 10am to 6pm until next Sunday, October 28.
Entry to the site east of Rogate off the A272 is £2.50 per person and free for under-twos. For details visit www.rogatepumpkinpatch.com or look on Facebook.
