ONE of the busiest roads in south east Hampshire is to close for two nights so damaged lighting columns can be replaced.
The eastbound A27 between Bedhampton and Warblington will be closed from 10pm to 5am next Wednesday and Thursday (Nov 2 and 3).
The westbound slip road at the Bedhampton/Harts Farm junction, for the A3(M), will also be closed during the same period.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted through Bedhampton, Leigh Park and Denvilles via Bedhampton Road, New Road, Petersfield Road, Bartons Road, Horndean Road and Southleigh Road.
Lane closures will also take place on the westbound A27 between the aforementioned junctions from 10pm to 6am next Friday and Saturday.
