A man has been taken to hospital today (Monday, May 15) after police swooped on a house in Petersfield.

Police said they were called to the property in Durford Road at 10.20am following concerns for the welfare of a male resident.

Officers assisted ambulance crews in getting the man out of the property safely and he was taken to hospital.
