An East Hampshire event showcasing super horsepower has raised more than £9,000 for a donkey charity.
Lanzante, a Sheet-based British automotive engineering specialist, has raised more than £9,000 for the Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary.
As part of its annual event programme, the company opens its showroom near Petersfield to let members of the public into its workshop, showroom, and offices.

Co-owner Charlotte Lanzante said they raise money for a local charity each year by opening their headquarters and running the sellout events.
She is now on the hunt for a charity to support for next year’s event.

Mrs Lanzante said the business currently employs 19 people and is looking to expand to improve efficiencies.
She said, as a thank you to local suppliers of goods and services, from 3D printing to painting, over 190 people had also been invited to see the actual cars they never usually get to see.
Visitors to 23 London Road, Sheet, on October 11 were car enthusiasts of all ages and included Petersfield schoolchildren Josh, 12, and Freddie Child, 14, who attended with their parents.
McLaren Formula One fan Josh Child said: “It is a good experience to come in here. When we drive by, I always look into the showroom. I am thrilled to visit the workshop. My favourite car here is the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12.”

His brother Freddie favoured the McLaren F1.
As part of the £20 entrance fee, complimentary refreshments were served from a freshly baked pizza vendor, an ice cream van, and a local coffee truck.
The Lanzante website states that it is an expert in the design and build of tailored commissions based on some of the world’s most iconic supercar brands.
It also provides ongoing support, maintenance, and preparation of high-performance and historic road and track cars.
