MEMORIES were stirred at the Milland Heritage Exhibition.

The exhibition was held at Milland Valley Memorial Hall on October 21 and 22 and featured displays about people and places, schools, old shops and pubs, farming and woodland work, and industries. Refreshments were also available.

Lorraine Grocott, who is part of the group which helped to organise the exhibition, said: “Milland has a wealth of history and it was a very good exhibition.

“There are various old Milland families, and we had lots of information on panels.

“It was very well received and more than 100 people came along.

“There were a lot of old faces, and people also took the chance to reminisce.”
