THE Bright New Futures road show (pictured below) from Sussex Green Living will be hosting environmentally- friendly family activities at Milland Green Fair including an instant Woodland Theatre created from 25 mature trees that will arrive in an adapted horse box.

The fair on the village recreation ground off Iping Road starts at midday on Sunday (September 26).

It is being jointly organised by Milland Parish Council and Eco Rother Action.

Eco Rother Action is a new community group based in the villages between Petersfield and Midhurst, dedicated to exploring what we can do, individually and collectively, in response to climate change.

A spokesman said: “The fair has the theme Tread Lightly on the Earth. It will include an activity where people are asked to draw around their feet creating a footprint with a commitment that will help fight climate change, resulting in a path full of footprints and commitments.”

There will also be an environmental solutionist, music from jazz musicians and singers, a guitar duo and stands with an eco theme, including protecting wildlife, fair trade, and fighting climate change.
