HOLLYCOMBE Steam in the Country welcomed members of the West Surrey Model Traction Engine Club to its annual steam in miniature weekend.

In glorious weather, the club displayed and ran approximately 25 miniature traction engines, from two inch to six inch scale.

Also in attendance were members of Portsmouth and District Model Power Boat Club, who displayed models on their own pond.

West Surrey Model Traction Engine Club secretary Tony Dezell said: “Everyone loves the atmosphere at Hollycombe and we enjoy putting on a show.”

Visitors to Hollycombe were also able to enjoy rides along the miniature and quarry railways, steam fairground rides and the delights of the azalea walk.
