AN INSPECTION of Petersfield Festival Hall roof prompted by damp in the offices below has revealed some minor damage to the lead sheeting. Some of the welted joints were found to be missing which could account for water coming in during driving rain. The report recommended that an extra layer of ‘torch on’ felt should be installed during the planned removal and re-bedding of the coping stones.
