ELECTION fever gripped Churcher's College as the school carried out its own mock election in the run-up to the country going to the polls in May.

It was kick-started with a cross-party debate at the school on February 6 as Churcher's played host to MPs, MEPs and Parliamentary candidates from across East Hampshire.

Pupils, staff, parents and youngsters from visiting schools had a chance to grill the panel with questions ranging from the economy to the NHS.

Comments and reactions were being tweeted throughout the evening to keep everyone on their toes.

The fortnight of campaigning by student candidates culminated in a whole school vote....
