LISS Parish Council has had a positive response to a meeting which was aiming to recruit people to become flood wardens in the village.
The open public meeting was held at Liss Village Hall last Tuesday (February 17).
Liss parish councillor Mike Kendall, who is helping to organise a flood defence network in Liss, said: "There were 20 people at Tuesday's meeting, plus representatives from Hampshire County Council's emergency planning team, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, East Hampshire District Council and Liss Parish Council.....
