THIS year’s East Meon Country Fair on the village green is offering a blend of traditional country pursuits and contemporary entertainment.
There is a whole host of new events at the show on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, including The Sheep Show from Norfolk.
The show is open between 1pm and 5pm and there is music by Sally Anne of The Three Belles 1940s, tribute act, and Marco and Good Gracious Music, as well as displays, attractions and refreshments.
There will also be a May Queen procession and Maypole dancing, horse and carriage rides, and the chance to win a dog house thatched on the day.
A show spokesman said: “There will be a mix of side shows, craft stalls, and country pursuits, Matt’s Hog roast, real ale beer tent, and tea and cakes.”
