A CHARITY that supports victims of domestic abuse in East Hampshire and further afield has won national recognition for their high quality service.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Southern Domestic Abuse Service (SDAS) was quick to thank the charity’s staff, trustees and volunteers after receiving the Women’s Aid National Quality Mark.

The award proves the charity provides a high quality of service to women, children, young people and men experiencing domestic violence in the Havant, East Hampshire and Rushmoor districts.

The Havant-based charity was particularly commended for its professionalism and integrity, with the organisation being labelled “an exceptional provider of domestic abuse services.”

“I am delighted that SDAS has been awarded the Women’s Aid National Quality Mark 2017,” said Claire Lambon, Chief Executive Officer.

“This award is due to the dedication and hard work of staff, trustees and volunteers, all of whom work tirelessly to provide support, advice and assistance to those affected by domestic abuse.”

Polly Neate, Chief Executive of Women’s Aid Federation England added: “We are very proud to award SDAS the National Quality Mark for their excellent work supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse in South East Hampshire and the surrounding areas.”
