INCREDIBLE, intimate and never-before-seen photographs of David Bowie are to be unveiled in Portsmouth at a must-see exhibition for fans of the rock icon.

A city venue has been added to an extended 2017 nationwide tour of David and I, by Bowie’s official photographer Denis O’Regan.

In conjunction with Off Beat Lounge, he will be displaying forty photographs documenting his time touring the world with Bowie at the Snows Mini showroom on Bilton Way on Friday, March 24.

Denis was the official photographer on the 1983 Serious Moonlight Tour, the Glass Spider Tour of 1987, and 1990’s Sound and Vision Tour, with all areas access.

Through the 80s and 90s, he also toured with The Rolling Stones, Queen, Duran Duran, Pink Floyd, Spandau Ballet, Thin Lizzy, Neil Diamond and The Bee Gees.

“I’m really looking forward to coming to Portsmouth for the exhibition, which pulls together a decade of travelling around the world with David.

“It’s been a real trip down memory lane for me, of time I spent with a great, great friend, both on stage and during our down time between concerts.”

His images depict Bowie on stage, back stage and relaxing between gigs.

There will be a Q&A session with Denis at the event.
