A NEW Poppy Appeal organiser has come forward for Rogate and Trotton, with the annual collection there starting on October 24 and running until the 11pm on November 11.

Ruth Hicks will take over from Diana Taylor as appeal organiser at the end of the year.

There will be collection boxes around the villages’ shops and business and door-to-door visits will be made.
