A new date has been set for the sentencing of an East Hampshire man who has admitted to murdering a pensioner in Liss.
Joshua Powell was originally due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court this morning (Friday, July 25) in connection with the death of 96-year-old Emma Finch at her Mill Road home on May 17, last year.
But the date has been moved so reports can be finalised with the 27-year-old of Elmfield Court, Lindford, now set to appear before the same court on October 23.
Powell remains in custody having pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court on May 16 to a count of murder. The victim was found by firefighters responding to a call out around 4am on the day.
