JUNIOR and mini players from Newman Collard Tennis Club in Liss took part in a sponsored rally or ‘hackathon’ during their coaching sessions to help raise money for the club.
The sponsored really took place over two days, and the aim was to achieve 4,000 hits over the four coaching sessions.
The children kept their eyes on the ball and managed a collective rally of 7,391 hits, smashing their 4,000 target.
Organisers congratulated all those who took part and reserved special praise for mini red player Leah, who managed a rally of 210 hits with coach JJ.
