REALLY on their toes when it comes to Red Nose Day are staff at Time To Be Me beauty salon in Petersfield.
They are painting the toenails of customers for a suggested donation of £9.50 tomorrow (Friday) to boost the Comic Relief charity.
They hope to raise several hundred pounds on their fun ‘Red Toes Day’, with men and children invited to have their toenails painted too.
There are many red nail varnishes to choose from in shades ranging from a pinky red to a dark crimson, and names including A Kiss in Paris, Manhatten Mayhem, Royal Flush, Maine Lobster and Bloody Mary.
“If people want to send a male friend or colleague along that would be a bit of fun,” said salon owner Karen Dodds.
She has put out the challenge to football and rugby teams in the area, and other all-male teams, to have the toe treatment.
“And children can have their toenails painted for £5,” she added.
Those wanting to take part should either book by calling 01730 260260 or visit www.timetobeme.co.uk
You can also just turn up at the salon in Paiges Court off High Street on Friday.
Beauty therapists Ellie Caplen and Alicia Morley will be painting toenails all day.
