It’s been well-reported that Liss has a rather good brass band, especially as they’ve just won a national competition.

But now it’s time to sing the praises of another group, with new and returning members being urged to raise their voice at a village school later this month.

The Liss Community Choir has invited villagers to ‘come and sing’ as they’re holding an open evening on Wednesday, September 24, at the Infant School.

The group billed as a “friendly and sociable group which loves to sing” is already full of enthusiasm as they have a new director, accompanist and ideas.

There are no auditions and would-be members do not know how to read music. For details and timings look for Liss Community Choir on Facebook, visit www.lisscommunitychoir.org.uk or email [email protected]
